Magical Girl Pink Heartbreak: Wig Review
This wig's color is unlike any other Madoka wig we've found. The wig is soft, and the cap is stretchy enough to fit any head size. The clips provided do a great job of keeping the wig on smaller heads, but the hair is long enough to even cover the hairline of someone with a larger head. The wig is very thick, but doesn't get too warm when you wear it for long periods of time. It comes with two pigtail clips, which are the perfect length for Madoka without any cutting. Even in flash photography, the wig doesn't shine or look fake- if anything, this wig is one of the most natural colored wigs in our collection. The pigtails even curled slightly on their own, so the wig didn't need much styling or cutting to look fantastic. The clips are very lightweight, and the wig is thick enough that you don't need to stab the clips into your actual hair underneath the cap to make them stay in place. The only downfall with this wig was it did shed slightly more than other Five Wits wigs that we've tried, but with a little hairspray, this wasn't an issue- and there are also no issue with balding due to thinning or shedding.
We recommend this wig for anyone thinking of cosplaying Madoka, of course, but would also highly recommend this wig to anyone simply needing a soft pink base wig. The fiber quality is top notch, and since The Five Wits allows you to buy the wig without the clips, you have many more options than buying a wig from another seller. Plus, $40 for the entire set isn't bad- even if you don't need the clips right away, we recommend you purchase them anyway!
